The Digital JEDI Consortium provides multiple services addressing the multifaceted needs of the modern digital landscape. All program components aim to reduce the effects of digital inequity and increase socio-economic capacity among those most impacted by the digital divide: Black, Indigenous, & People of Color (BIPOC), Immigrant, and low-income communities. Community members can request services through the Digital JEDI Consortium website, phone number, and email, as well as in-person through Digital Navigators stationed at community sites.
Tech Support

The Digital JEDI Consortium is dedicated to bridging the digital divide within communities. Through the innovative Digital Navigator Cohort, community members have access to live tech support, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their technical expertise, can receive guidance and assistance with digital technologies. This initiative not only empowers individuals by enhancing their digital skills but also strengthens community ties by fostering a more inclusive and tech-savvy environment.
Device Distribution

Through its partnership with Computers 4 People (C4P), the Digital JEDI Consortium is committed to increasing access to technology among communities most impacted by the digital divide. C4P aims to deliver 1,500 laptops, and 300 hotspots, to community members who plan to use the device(s) for career development, across the Metro North and North Shore regions.
Internet Access

One key barrier to participation in the digital world is access to reliable broadband internet. Digital Navigators at the Digital JEDI Consortium can guide community members in accessing affordable internet solutions like the Internet Essentials package offered by Comcast, hotspots, etc.
Digital Literacy

In collaboration with its partners, The Digital JEDI Consortium will deliver intermediate and advanced level digital literacy courses at multiple sites across the Metro North and Northshore regions. These courses are designed to equip community members with digital skills that can be implemented in work settings. Some Course topics include Windows 101/Microsoft Office, UI/UX Design, Front End Web Development, and Advanced Excel.
Community Care Referrals

The Digital JEDI Consortium is deeply committed to supporting the holistic well-being of the communities it serves and recognizes that communities do not experience digital inequities in isolation. The profound ways in which structural racism and other systems of oppression have harmed BIPOC, Immigrant and Low-Income Communities means that digital inequities overlap with socio-economic and health disparities. Digital Navigators can provide community members with Community Care Resources; information on local community and social services that can assist community members with non-digital equity needs. Examples could include information on organizations providing housing services, food security assistance, childcare assistance, economic development etc.
