About

Our Mission

The Digital Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Consortium is a program led by the MassHire Metro North Workforce Board (MNWB) through its Work to Thrive (WtT) initiative. Its purpose is to fix unfair differences, also known as inequities, in access to technology in the Metro North and Northshore areas of Massachusetts.

The main goal of the Digital JEDI Consortium is to help Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), immigrants, and low-income communities get equal opportunities for learning digital skills, using technology, and finding jobs. We believe everyone should have the same access to these tools and opportunities for success.

About the Project

The Digital JEDI Consortium works to support job growth and career development for under-served communities in the Metro North and Northshore areas of Massachusetts. With $4,118,757 in funding from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI), we are focused on improving digital equity.
